What can a DMS do for you?

A good document management system (DMS) should store documents in a centralized location. This makes finding documents in the DMS much easier, as there is only one place to look. Limiting access to specific individuals to each and every file is the next important requirement. Also the DMS should keep track of files being changed, added and removed. A good DMS will add on change tracking for the files so that changes can be tracked, and reversed if need be.
